I think it's difficult for most societies to come to terms with the fact their governments pull many strings, most of them in the pursuit of absolute power and wealth and that everyone single one of us is expandable in their eyes... And because that is too painful to bare most prefer to go blindly about believing whatever is being fed them and blaming some innocent 'other society' for all the lacks in their lives ...
