There's no doubt the virus is real. We're lucky it's not the big one yet. No chance of extinction at least. Lots of damages though.
It doesn't appear any one knew much before December.
I don't think there was ever a way to actually contain this one. Not sure if china could have been more forward or not. They certainly might have had an idea of how fast it might spread.
Yes, I've seen the report of CBS caught showing pictures of a hospital in Italy. Last a read shortly after it came out was that they claimed to have made a mistake with the photo. I don't recall them retracting much though. I never followed up after that. they're one of my news channels out of about 7 or 8. Certainly never been a favorite. Just a need to know what the outlets are saying or pushing around.
