I'm getting a break from working on my old motorcycle and I get to change the water pump on my car.
While dangerously low on antifreeze I used the -25C weather to make a few short drives to get the new pump and some groceries watching the temperature gauge carefully trying to not blow the head gasket.

You will find this time of year we have a quick cold snap. And then again usually about two weeks in February. It only comes close to freezing temperatures once in a while. And I for one am glad. I already had my tomatoes and herbs started for the year I think I should be able to save them. Once the daylight comes I will know. You will be about an hour and half drive south of me neighbor ------ This thread has reached the limit ------

I believe our enviroment is forever changing. Tho we do not help it the way we have dirtied it all up. It will still be as it has since the beginning of time. Changing. I wanted at one time to be an archaeologist and through that I studied climate change. It always has held my interest. How once upon time we had a large lake and then years and years go by and it is no more. I wish we had a longer spring in Florida than what we do. So I got the new water pump for my car in and I torque the bolts down carefully and on my last bolt for final torque It stripped. So I took out the metric bolt and if the bolt was the same length as the hole so it bottomed out.
Anyhow I have just enough room to tap it out to a standard bolt and hope that works out. I'm very tempted to make it a stud , locktite it in and let it dry. Then put a nut on it.
What do you guys think.

Hope the cold didn't ruin your garden. I flew down to Ft Lauderdale in November and I waved to you in the plane. I guess you missed it. I hope I'll be making the permanent move in a few weeks at most...can't wait!
