germanspitz: Animals are better at telepathic communication than we humans are, because it is their first and primary language. It's how they communicate with each other. So we can learn from them by paying attention to how they hear and understand us.
Very true!
Between species, there is telepathic communication. Ants come to mind.

If animals communicate telepathically, what does the lobster say to the trout when it is being boiled? In other words, does the lobster feel pain?

germanspitz: Such a wonderfully structured piece of prose that is so worth the read .

Somehow I feel the content may be lost to some people set in their own ideology and mindset.
I have had this beautifully framed and displayed in my house since I started out in life. You’re on to something here, too...but I would like to believe that it may have changed some ( self-absorbed/ egotistical/cynical) people. Personally, I fully believe in Karma, and those people you mention will be wrangled out of their stink, by and by...hug

Yes it does!

And a trout wouldn't be able to communicate with a lobster as they are not the same species.

They should be stunned before cooking, and most are frozen before plunging them into boiling water, It's actually a law in Switzerland.

ElysianFields: "Go placidly amid the noise and the haste, and remember what peace there may be in silence. As far as possible, without surrender, be on good terms with all persons. Speak your truth quietly and clearly; and listen to others, even to the dull and the ignorant; they too have their story. Avoid loud and aggressive persons; they are vexatious to the spirit. If you compare yourself with others, you may become vain or bitter, for always there will be greater and lesser persons than yourself. Enjoy your achievements as well as your plans. Keep interested in your own career, however humble; it is a real possession in the changing fortunes of time. Exercise caution in your business affairs, for the world is full of trickery. But let this not blind you to what virtue there is; many persons strive for high ideals, and everywhere life is full of heroism. Be yourself. Especially do not feign affection. Neither be cynical about love; for in the face of all aridity and disenchantment it is as perennial as the grass. Take kindly the counsel of the years, gracefully surrendering the things of youth. Nurture strength of spirit to shield you in sudden misfortune. But do not distress yourself with dark imaginings. Many fears are born of fatigue and loneliness. Beyond a wholesome discipline, be gentle with yourself. You are a child of the universe no less than the trees and the stars; you have a right to be here. And whether or not it is clear to you, no doubt the universe is unfolding as it should. Therefore be at peace with God, whatever you conceive Him to be. And whatever your labors and aspirations, in the noisy confusion of life, keep peace in your soul. With all its sham, drudgery and broken dreams, it is still a beautiful world. Be cheerful.
Strive to be happy."

Yeh, you might explain that other thread you posted about updating advanced search criteria...

It didn't dawn on my that it might be something to do with my profile..but I dunno...I'm beginning to wonder.

There are some very strange people on here and I' sure you don't want to be seen in that light so you might oblige me with a response. Thanks :)

Yes, same here Tom...it's heartbreaking to see what's been done to those poor animals...and all in the name of entertainment and/or profit. There are some people on this planet who should be blasted into outer space and left there....to rot...slowly very mad
