The Psychological Effect of Colours

I didn't say you weren't allowed to copy from the internet.
I agreed with what you wrote as I just read it myself.
Ok..just a "coincidence " wink

I don't think there's any "magic" researching Tom??? dunno
It depends on what key words you enter and also discern the info you read.

Anyway...after doing some searching from various sources...I do my own personal research without involving internet or anybody.teddybear

The Psychological Effect of Colours

All this is very true, Tom as you've just copied it from the internet. wink

But...nobody is telling you why, or what is causing it? grin
There's a reason behind it all.

The Psychological Effect of Colours

"Gaze detection " or "psychic staring effect" as well as other phenomena, such as "déjà vu", "synchronicities", seeing same numbers, seeing patterns in nature, or fractals etc etc...
Are all part of the same thing, Tom.

Up to you to work it out...if you look in the right place.

Let me know when you find the answers, please?

The Psychological Effect of Colours

Hmmm...there's an answer for that but...
That's another topic and I don't think people will like to hear the answer.uh oh

The Psychological Effect of Colours

Probably due to the lack of sunshine, Tom.

I didn't know about the birds. But, I suppose it makes sense.

The Psychological Effect of Colours

I don't know about the test you're talking about, Rohan?

Yellow is a nice bright sunny and warm colour, but not calming!

For calming we use light blue.
But, being a cold colour, be careful which room you use it for.

Now..for healing..LILAC is used. I have it in my music room (a sunny room) and a lighter lilac a bit more pinky, for my bedroom.
Very calming and relaxing.
Good colour for meditation.
I use amethyst for that purpose.

The Psychological Effect of Colours

Nice! I love jasmine. I have a star jasmine but the leaves are always green.
Beautiful flowers and scent.smitten

The Psychological Effect of Colours

Hello there...you seem to know about colours?

Red is the colour of passion and desire.
Some women like wearing red to feel more confident and... maybe..attractive?

As for colours having effect on blind people, I suppose you mean about the energy they transmit?

The Psychological Effect of Colours

Hello Gs...how lovely!
What kind of flowers did it have?
I don't know about this variety?

Nice to have some autumn leaves. We don't get those here.
And the smell of fallen leaves is very nice too.

Something I miss...the colours and the smells.

The Psychological Effect of Colours

Thanks for posting Conrad.
However, this is not showing how fast/slow each colour vibrates so that you can feel the colour when touching the fabric with your eyes shut.

The Psychological Effect of Colours

I meant to add: Good luck with it, Sel, and let me know how you got on with the experiment?
thumbs up bouquet

The Psychological Effect of Colours

I´ve searched everywhere for my colour chart - the one from the workshops - but cannot find it anywhere! sigh

But, here are a few colours for you, which I´ve retrieved:

The color red has the longest wavelength and the slowest vibration,
while the color violet, at the other end of the spectrum, has the shortest wavelength and the fastest vibration of electromagnetic energy.

You´ll just have to work out the other colours in between?

How does this affect our moods? Colors emit vibrations and our eyes perceive the wavelengths.

The Psychological Effect of Colours

Glad you enjoyed it 4u1 .
Yes, blind people have to rely on their other senses.

That´s why, as I explained, it´s a good experiment to FEEL the colours with your eyes shut.

Never saw that film. dunno

The Psychological Effect of Colours

With fabrics it's very interesting.

Now...if we can feel the colour by feeling the material...imagine the effect it has on our body when we wear certain colours?

Although we may not be conscious of it, they still have an effect on our moods.

Another experiment:
Try to put some clothes on..a teashirt..with your eyes shut, and how you feel?
Then try other colours..without looking at them. thumbs up

Anyway...I'm going to dream in colour now.
yawn sleep

Will write the colour vibes here tomorrow.

Night x

The Psychological Effect of Colours

I'll tell you more about each colour and their vibration speed...tomorrow.
Then you can try it?

The Psychological Effect of Colours

Yes it is!
I was at a self awareness workshop long ago and we learned how to FEEL colours...how fast they vibrate..
Very interesting!

The Psychological Effect of Colours

They're not always great though...especially if they are premonitions about future events...or visions of the future.
All your senses are aware and you can feel what's going on doh

The Psychological Effect of Colours

For me too, Sel.
I also need to feel the material.
In fact, with the eyes shut, you should also be able to feel the colour as they all have a different vibration.

The Psychological Effect of Colours

Ohh..ok.
But I'm not into all those drugs so it doesn't really mean anything to me..dunno

The Psychological Effect of Colours

Good! Mine too! thumbs up

The Psychological Effect of Colours

Your dreams sound interesting Sel.
Mine are also very colourful and very vivid.
But...all in one episode.laugh

The Psychological Effect of Colours

Yes, it sounded nice from your description.
I take it it was all vegie dishes''?

The Psychological Effect of Colours

Good for you Tom!

I take it you were talking to Bod?

The Psychological Effect of Colours

I suppose, as a one off, it's an experience.
Like the Ayahuasca was also the one off for me.
But...never again.

Those wonderful experiences can become addictive wink

RE: UK could be urged to keep windows open in effort to curb Covid-19

I also had my windows open when living in Germany, with temps below freezing.grin

RE: UK could be urged to keep windows open in effort to curb Covid-19

Well...in northern spain it's also getting cold and windows have to be opened in the classrooms.
Which means that kids have to keep their clothes on..anorak, scarves and gloves..and masks! doh

The Psychological Effect of Colours

My life is very colourful - and so are my dreams! smitten smile

RE: What is your view...on those...who use too much profanity?

That's right! thumbs up

RE: What is your view...on those...who use too much profanity?

I agree, Tom. And I know many men who also think the same.

Apart from that, swear words carry a very negative energy or frequency.
Same as negative thoughts.

RE: What is your view...on those...who use too much profanity?

I agree! As you say..it is not "ladylike"..whether in writing and..even worse..verbally!
