Well..thanks very much for the advice. I'll have to look into it but I think it's gone beyond repair. I don't really have pain when i don't do anything.
I eat a healthy diet and no tomatoes for me. I also take Omega 3 every day. I don't take any drugs! No anti..whatever for me.
Well...it certainly doesn't help if you do picking on the guitar.
But...the piano helps a bit with finger exercise as you need to stretch for at least one octave. With practice every day, fingers are a bit more supple.
I play by ear too if I play some pop songs - like I did with my acoustic guitar - But I do need music sheets when I'm learning classical. Then I try to memorize it.
I don't think about where I'll be in 5 years time! My goodness! I live for now and the arthritis in my fingers is not getting any better. That's why I can't play the guitar anymore.
Where I live I help a lot of people with paperwork and hospital visits when they need a translator and someone with them for support. I also do healing therapies. Most often the Universe takes care of me one way or anotherI used to do it too, but not in the last few months. Everything has come to a standstill.
By helping others you are at the same time healing yourself!
Reminds me of that film "Patch Adams"...true story! He found that laughter was the cure for many things and decided to be a doctor, after being depressed for so long.
The Gesundheit Institute in Philadelphia is the proof of it.
