Anyone interested in joining a book club that would meet here in the forums? We could, like a traditional book club, select a book, read it, and then post our views. Let me know if there are other readers here and what everyone is currently reading.

Hi Lit. I just got this book by Jean M. Auel called the Mammoth Hunters. But it is the third in a series. Clan of the Cave Bear is the first and The Valley of Horses is the second. I really need to go to the library to get the other books first if they have them. I am not sure but saw the movie Clan of the Cave Bear with Darryl Hannah. Thats what you get from going to yard sales and just picking up a book down priced for 3 dollars, lol.

Sounds interesting enough... but it would depend on the kind of books that are chosen to be read and discussed.
I'm just reading the last pages of Gabriel Garcia Marquez' One Hundred Years of Solitude and I would love to discuss it with others.
I would give the Ayla books a miss, though. I read two of them ages ago when I was 14 and they didn't really impress me that much, sorry.

Hello I hope everyone is doing well, I am wondering what people are reading and if anyone has a suggestion for a book we can read and discuss. I am currently reading Thorn Birds.

I'm reading Adrian Mole's Secret Diary by Sue Townsend. lol (really)
When I was a child I read it many times but in Hungarian language. Some days ago I found it in a book store in English language. I still like it! :)))

I'm also reading Oracle 10G documents, it isn't as funny :)

And I'm going to read: Forgotten Tales by Edgar Allen Poe
