Friskyone: What is the most outlandish task an employer/supervisor/manager ever asked you to do?
Did you do it in fear of losing your job if you refused?
What was the task?
Mine was in Boston, in the purple shamrock bar/restaurant. I was hired to be a hostess but after fee days boss asked me to work in the Budweiser hub/tent at night wearing certain clothes! I politely said nope and never went back to that job!

Good decision! That was not what you signed up for. I would do the same.
My two bosses, if I ever saw, during my career job never asked me to do anything. Instead, I was always asked what I thought my role would be given any new project. I managed my subordinates the same way and subsequently and luckily I never had a single union grievance filed against me in 26 years from those I managed directly or indirectly.

That was a pity ,,, it could have been a busy tent and imagine the tips,,,,,
