Leptokurtic A distribution with positive excess kurtosis is called leptokurtic, or leptokurtotic. "Lepto-" means "slender". In terms of shape, a leptokurtic distribution has fatter tails. Examples of leptokurtic distributions include the Student's t-distribution, Rayleigh distribution, Laplace distribution, exponential distribution, Poisson distribution and the logistic distribution. Such distributions are sometimes termed super-Gaussian.
Found out the poem "No Man Is An Island" was not first coined by Ernest Hemingway in his book "For Whom The Bell Tolls" but by a British metaphysical poet and one of the founders of the Church of England John Donne in the 17th century and he was Dean of Saint Paul's Cathedral 1621 - 1631. Ernest Hemingway used John Donne's poem in his book that was based on Ernest Hemingway's experiences as an ambulance driver during the Spanish Civil War.
'No Man is an Island'
No man is an island entire of itself; every man is a piece of the continent, a part of the main; if a clod be washed away by the sea, Europe is the less, as well as if a promontory were, as well as any manner of thy friends or of thine own were; any man's death diminishes me, because I am involved in mankind. And therefore never send to know for whom the bell tolls; it tolls for thee.
