No. I'm selective about who I call a friend and if someone likes me well enough to call me a friend - it has happened and they were special friends to me.A great person can end up to become a good friend but it is possible that we simply wouldn't be suitable as partners.
Not saying that it isn't tough when the realisation hits, but it has been well worth forging friendships.

You can strip off and get going with someone you fancy and can have a conversation at another time with friends. I have never seen my male friends naked but that doesn't mean they aren't physically attractive.

They're talented musicians, singers, writers, ceramists, artists, healers, jewellery makers, teachers, translators, event organisers. And that's just off the top of my head ...

You are right food is very much appreciated in Mediterranean household and so it can take the shape of everyone joining in the prepation and eating of it. Including friends who just popped round to borrow the electric drill And a clean house & appearance is also important.

Same goes for cleaning the house. Everyone who lives in the house can do their share of cleaning. And guess what?! That means EVERYONE has time to do other things apart from cooking, eating and cleaning. Your aunts might very well be delighted with 'them lot'...
