Since I put up the new picture of Clay and I, we both have received many "well wishes"...

For myself it has been from people that not only do i not know, but who has followed my "threads" and replies on the forums and I guess they feel they kind of "know" me...

As I had said before, him and I did not make a connection right away...some of it had to do with the "pre-requisites" that we both had on our profile (hence my thread about pre-requisites)..it took someone else who knew him, and followed my posts on the forums to suggest that we would make a good match....and she was right!!

The forum is a good tool to let people get to know "you" beyond what your profile says...it allows others to see how you think and what you feel...whether it be good or bad...as well as a way of making a connection in a more "familiar" way...we share each others joys and sorrows here....lend an ear and offer our advice....

How would you say being on the CS forum affected you...and what would you tell the members that are "watching" but not participating?

Well honestly other than a few giggles on the forum CS hasn't changed my
life...My profile is not really who I am..its not even close really.
I met a nice girl from the east who was fun to talk to..will we ever meet? I doubt it. You have to be a realist here. I don't think I will meet anyone I really connect with here but I like the folks here.
I think some and not all by any means treat CS like window shopping for chicks or guys and that is kinda sad..Just my opinion not meant to offend..People need to talk so these forums are good and the side watchers should start participating..Problem today nobody talks or takes time out just to live.

You're right in that aspect Ed...after a year of being on here..and genuinely trying to "date" people i had met...I realized that for the most part...alot of these people were just content to "date their computers"...lol

I stayed on the forum because i enjoyed the banter and adult company i found here...great way to unwind after a long day at work sometimes...spent alot of time on the international site because of the time difference, you could always find someone to talk to....

I had actually given up on really meeting anyone on here...and had just become accustomed to the fact that if i'm going to meet someone they are just going to "walk into my life" somehow...but i had cease my active searching....my profile even said so...

And then the inevitable happened....you stop looking...and they crawl out of the woodwork!!!

If I found someone I would throw my computer in the drive and back over it with my Jeep..so I think I will just be content to talk to people about well hell anything and just live for today..I must stop looking
and start living and enjoying my life..I don't need a marriage license to be complete LOL

I have found that by posting in the forums quite a bit that I get more noticed. I have had also some members message me and flower me just to say they have been following my posts and like what I write.

My advice to others who are lurking. If you want to get more noticed then walk on in and get comfortable and be yourself and post and let us get to know you! Definatly helps!

I agree with your comments about the forum letting others see who you are.
I have met a great friends because of this site. Most i will not meet in person but a few i have and a few more i will down the road.
Will a new relationship like you and Clayton develop. Who knows. It would be nice but i am not desperate or settling for it.

i like Tracy, have no expectations, coz that just gets you hurt and creates disappointment. Instead, i focus on being me, and meeting and chatting with friends.
To all those who just read and dont post, i encourage you to post and get involved. The rewards are wonderful.

Befor Urs came along I was like Ed said window shopping and then one day I recieved a message from a friend (also on CS) that she had found the the perfect woman for me.Urs and I had messaged each other befor this message but nothing seriously.So when my friend told me it was Wikkid I told her that I already knew her.I messaged Urs to tell her this and thought we would have a laugh together.And from that message it lead to many more and the rest is history.

But back to my sweetys thread,until I met Urs I was just a reader of the threads and posts.To shy and afraid of looking like a fool I guess.Urs is the one who brought me out of my shell here in the forums.

My advice to the just readers is to start posting because one thing I did notice is that when you post you have alot more ladies that look at you
