Unconditional love between a woman and a man is very rare. There are very few examples of such love in the world. Unconditional love is so unpredictable that you can't even imagine whom you will love. In unconditional love, the heart chooses the partner, not the mind or brain. Sometimes the mind rejects a person, yet the heart chooses that person for love and the mind is not able to know what the heart saw in him/her for love? The heart does not see whether the person is beautiful or ugly, rich or poor, successful or unsuccessful, good or bad, if you see all this then understand that it is not unconditional love. unconditional love has no conditions.
One drawback of unconditional love is that it happens only between one to one person and if he/she could not get his/her lover then he/she is not able to accept anyone else and remains alone for lifelong.
I am sure that hardly anyone in CS would have experienced unconditional love because most of all are breakups separated divorcees and rest of all has conditions that their partner should be like this, like that.
Therefore, unconditional love can only be discussed, practically it is probably not possible in real life in today's modern society. Unconditional love is not in our hands and what is in our hands all that have conditions.

People should stop fooling themselves about the "unconditional" love.Putting up with someones weakness, downfalls, sins, demands, hatred and so on is called stupidity.
The best working relationships are based on people who know what can give to each other,
And before some start crying it is trade, nope, it isn't.
It means you are not willing to waste your life loving another human being that doesn't reciprocate.
And it also mean that the two of you can do way better as a couple and a family than those who are purely feeding off feelings and emotions.
A strong foundation to raise strong people. And strong people is want the world needs
The humans are not "fine" enough to truly fulfil their theory of unconditional connection.
And when it comes to mother's unconditional love, you'd better be conditional when you want your kid to become a proper human being.
