Supposedly most of the people on CS. are single and looking for a partner. I am one of you. My whole life has been travel All of it on my own wheels except for the flights. Travel broadens our minds and changes our perspective. I am assuming that many of you like or would like to travel This is the reason I have started this thread. I am hoping to travel internationally starting within the next two months. I have an off-road Camping Truck in eastern Europe. from there I will drive through Hungary, Slovenia and Italy to Genoa. Taking a ship from Genoa to Tangier in Morocco. Then it will be about spending time in Morocco, then Western Sahara and Mauritania. There are no accommodation costs as the truck rear cabin is the accommodation. The only costs for "you"? would be getting to Eastern Europe and back to where-ever you live, Visas and sharing food costs. I have to pay for the fuel whether I have some-one with me or not. Found that older men are only interested in someone keeping the house tidy and someone to cook their meals while they pursue their hobbies. Wow! Pedro! I would love to have a face to face with you and talk about a lot of things! In your question you have exposed exactly how you come to conclusions. You hear something spoken; from the tone you create a picture in your head (Whether you are aware of it or not) and from that picture you have feelings, emotional feelings. (it's they're, meaning "they are" feeling emotions) From that conclusion you feel emotions in sympathy. Try saying to the person, "From the tone of your voice I feel you are happy / not happy." and see what happens then. It is likely to deepen your connection with them.
Emotion is occurring in everyone of us about everything we do and say. Tone is part of the non verbal communication. Look at the colour of their skin and the way they move their body. All of those non verbal things are telling you the truth no matter what they say in words..
I see profiles with "I love to travel " ""I'm adventurous" or something similar but there is no indication of what their definition of " Travel" or what is "Adventurous"; it's different for each of us.

To me it appears that you are all discussing "Nothing" .If you can not see it, smell it, touch it, taste it, hear it, feel it, detect it with instruments / devices, then it doesn't exist. All the manifestations that we are aware of are those of nature and the factors involved in the results are innumerable. All the other "Stuff" you connect with it are creations of your mind as a result of conditioning or spontaneous imagination. "Faith" is something you have in your mind for which there are no supporting "facts" Stalin said "Religion is another form of politics and I don't need competition". So under his rule steps were taken to reduce the "Competition". Carl Marx said "Religion is the opium of the masses." The religious "Disciples" are simply "Pushers".
