mbken: I've read many profiles here on CS over the years. I like to read the section titled, "more about my match", and find some to be quite unrealistic, bordering on the perfect person.
Does your profile have realistic expectations for a potential partner, or is more of a wish list? Just curious...I'll sit back and watch the responses.
I believe it is perfectly fine to be choosy. It's your life---do it the way YOU want. (Yes, there aren't any perfect people, but there are people who are absolutely wonderful....worth going for.) I might reply, if… it’s NOT a form letter, copy paste, or some pedantic fantasy nonsense of a creative writing exercise. The 419 types are over the top with their overblown expectations. Sheesh!
