Avoid commenting on, or in, their future posts like the plague, or just carry on regardless?

Like RZ, its possible there was a misunderstanding...cyberspace its not easy to be clear sometimes...no face to read. So I also would try to clarify. If the issue is clear and I feel strongly enough about it, then i send a email to the person taking it "off line" so as not to "disturb" the rest of the thread. Not unlike where I might be around a bunch of people, me and another start to get in a heated debate....its taken else where. If there is no headway, thats generally when I will ignore it.
