I don't think it has to be a dream. Many members join think it's just another dating site. They don't even realize the forums are here. I didn't until I was bored one night and took more time to look around.

There is a flower message that says "Join me in the forums" you could send to members, but it may not say enough.
Let us know if you can think of something better and we will add it to the flower shop.

I'm not sure anything else could be done to encourage people into the forums to be honest.
There have been many threads "waking the neighbours" in the past, but I'm not sure that anyone who came in from that actually stayed in.
Many people just seem to want to find someone one to one and are really not into the social thing the forum can be.
The profile stating
"if you really want to find out what I'm all about, come join me in the forums"
is great,
but, I have had a flower and message 'come and join me in the forums'
but the guy had never been in the forums and despite my returning with a message saying I was there and would be
pleased to see him there too, he never appeared!

I receive now and then flowers or notes from people who for whatever reason they have, just do not post on the forums.

Plenty of folks read the forums but never post.
That's too bad, because I'd love to see some fresh faces.
We've gone through some turbulent times. Perhaps some peace and some encouraging threads may bring new people to the forums.

Leave the computers, and tell all your freinds and nieghbors about CS. I been seeing alot of dating sites with those little campaign signs on street corners at intersections on community bulletin boards.

I read a profile today that stated "if you really want to find out what I'm all about, come join me in the forums". I think this would be an excellent advertisement. Some of you have stated you get many, many emails or flowers a day (up to 50). Assuming the senders are reading your profiles, think how many members might possibly come check out the forums.
Any other suggestions?
