A rather problematic matter in CS (15)
AlgarionPatras, West Greece Greece183 Threads 2,961 PostsI find extremelly annoying the future CS has which saws when a member is online. Most of the time the person is offline but in his/her profile say"online" and you wait and wait and wait for a response while the person has logged off. And now my question. Why on earth the "online thing" is supposed to be so accurate when it cannot even indicate when a person has left CS. I hope you understand what i mean.

When people leave the site they should go though "sighn out" botton,if they don't do it then for a while it indicates that person is "online"

Yeah that clears things a bit. There must be away to make it check the presence of a member in real time.

My experience, it is alright for a free site, compared to some paying ones out there, it is pretty good value for no money..
But yes i agree with the online problem, but guess for a few problems, you get a lot of great stuff as well.

I'll admit I'm one of those who doesn't click on the Sign out link.
I believe that a person is shown as being online for about 30 minutes after they leave. Think we covered this topic a while ago

I'm glad I came into this thread, I had no idea this happened, explains why people have said they're going yet still showed as being online. Guess I'll use the sign out button in future too as I always just close the browser when I leave

i afraid that you are mistaken Lyna .... cause even if you click on "sign out" site will still indicates that you are on line
In 45 mins it will be shown that you are gone .... The in one hour it will say " someone signed out one hour ago"
