Dandelion - I would definitely say it was an omen LOL
Karen - Now that was one tacky dude. Did the gf know it was used ? LOL
My ex went so far as to find someone that had everyone saying he went out and found someone who could be my twin, trying to "replace" me LOL Really gave our kid the creeps.
I took mine to a pawn shop, threw it on the counter and told the guy i don't care what you do with it. I needed to buy diapers and formula for my baby, and i was craving pickles (I was also 7 months preggers when things broke up).

Hi, all! Well, mine are a long story - lol! Originals were bought quickly due to another long story - but you can probably imagine . They ended up in a pawn shop when we needed money one time. Then, I replaced my band with one I bought myself at Target. I was sick of going to church without one on my finger! That band ended up down the garage disposal during some argument - I can't remember. Then, one Valentine's Day, he wanted to know if I'd buy him a new tv and a PS1 (when that was first out). I agreed to, on the condition that I get the rings I always wanted. So, he took me and put the rings on lay-away for $500.00 at Goodman's, and once he got his tv and game machine, he cancelled the law-away about a month later, and I never got the rings!!! That's how my entire marriage was to him, and that's why I got a divorce!!! If I ever get married again, I'll have to be drunk, in Vegas, and not aware of what's happening - lol!!! Just joking.

Hey mate i was allergic to mine used to come out in a rash when i wore it. Didnt wear it even when we were together.Mind you think i might be allergic to marriage
I wore my wedding band right up until the day the county sherrif's deputy handed me the papers for divorce. I had no idea she had filed until then. I was so angry that I grabbed a 2lb sledge and totally destroyed my ring with it before tossing it into the woods. Far as I know, that ring is still out there buried under 12 years of leaves and pine needles.
Now 12 years later, I am getting married a second time. This time, it's till death do us part (natural causes of course )
