I have this issue about having to "read your hints"
If there is an issue, then wouldnt it be prudent to just say so , instead of dancing around the issue with hints.
I will be the first to admit that I find myself trying to play the game. however it sure would be nice if I could find a women that was a good comunicator , and knew how to say what she wanted , instead of expecting me to use my keen powers of observation to figure it out.

being so direct could take away the thrill of the chase for you. or else the woman may just feel too shy or self consious to say anything or be so direct.

Yeah, I also like directness, can't be doing with trying to work out cryptic messages, beating around the bush either. If more people say what they really meant instead of talking a load of bull, life would be a lot simpler thumbs up

women say they want you to be honest...but they don't, really. It seems they want honesty on their terms.

I don't think they is a more direct person on the planet. I say what I want to say, suffer the consequences later.

The games people play in bars are absurd. hence the singles net.

I could bore you with lots of examples...but I'll just say few people want you to be brutally honest with them

*In the old days (something like 10,000 years ago) men usually made his intentions known to a potential mate by flaring his chest, making suitable grunting noises, and possibly clubbing her over the head and dragging her to his cave.

Today, that is very much frowned upon by modern society.*

I quote caferider...

Hey....i still live by these laws.....and i carry my club everywhere...
laugh
Dont know about flaring the chest though......just the club and dragging by hair will be sufficient thanks....laugh

cheers

Saying a direct 'No' is the most honest, kindest and direct way to communicate
with anyone when a 'no' is relevant. Cut the excuses.

It funny too because most women are looking for a "good communicator". laugh

The result is often that men don't understand women because they don't know how to read between the lines and women don't understand men because they're looking for something between the lines that isn't there. rolling on the floor laughing tongue

I didnt say that I use Brutal honesty. Simply that I like to be direct in my approach to an issue. I think that one can be direct without being rude or hurtfull. One can still be tactfull , while taking a direct approach.

As far as the "thrill of the chase" goes. I must say that at 31 , I am beyond enjoting "the chase". However , I do see your point about a person possibly being to shy to be direct.
and maybe I should clarify..... By direct i dont mean rude, condescending, hurtfull , or brash. I simply mean fairly direct and to the point . maybe not literally, but at least in substance, or to a point where an intellegent person could interpret the conversation.
