This is why I love Vienna. Dogs are accepted everywhere. While I was apartment hunting, I did not come across one single place that said no animals allowed. The running joke here is the the Viennese prefer dogs to small children!

Nope, in fact every place I asked to make sure looked at me like I was crazy that I was even asking. There is also no additional deposit to cover the animal being in the apartment. Vienna is a city of dogs. They are allowed in restaurants, stores (except grocery or other food-selling stores). Some stores even have the dog stations where they can drink water and get a snack. Quite ideal for me because I got my doggie! Who, by the way, is what my Dad affectionally calls a Purebreed California Potpourri...she seems to have every bit of dog in her!

Nice mix. So does Vienna beat out Paris in the puppy population?

We have some areas of my city where the resto/pubs and outdoor patios also place doggie treats and water for the people walkers...

yer dogs is cool.. Haven't got one myself as i live in an apartment and am home 8 out of 24 Hours everyday. My mum has a little miniture longhaired dashhound. funny little thing and smart as a whip. My sisters dog is a ridgeback cross rottwheller. It's like 4 foot tall and can put it's paws on my sholders when it stand up (i'm bout 6 footish).
He's still real playful even though he's about 2 1/2 years old which can be quite risky to limbs when he gets going.

I Ran Over the Taco Bell Dog: by Adam Sandler

(laughing through out song)

I was driving around in Ol’ Mehico
I got lost I didn’t know which way to go
I was confused, it was late and I was in a fog
I ran over de Taco Bell Dog

I felt that smush and I said “Oh Mama”
My low rider crushed that little Chi-wawa
I preyed for forgiveness in a Synagogue
I ran over de Taco Bell Dog

If I am caught they will put me in a cell with 20 locks
Unless I can pin it on ‘Jack in the Box’
I’ll whipped, then be beaten, and then I’ll be flogged
I ran over de Taco Bell Dog

His last words were “Yo Quiaro El Mehdico”
I flattened that pup, to Hell I will go
I should have seed it driving and gone for a jog (?)
I ran over de Taco Bell Dog
(Screeching Tires and then Dog noises to fade)

I don't have a dog myself but my mom has one that I just love to visit and play and cuddle with. His name is Lucky and he is a Pomeranian. A real silly and fun dog.

Now if I could chose any dog I can have, I would love a Boston Terrier. I think they are so cute and I would probably call him "Tyson"

But nope I have a cat for now lol

Tracy :o)

I like dogs too.
I had a Dobberman Pincer named Max once. Max would climb on my lap when he was a little puppy while I was driving. Dobberman puppies grow pretty fast. He had to learn not to do it when the cops stopped me because they saw a dobberman driving my Monaro.

Hey I have 2 of the best boxers!! They are my bestfriends!! I have no kids so I guess they fill that void. But they are my life. They come first in everything I do and if someone does not like that than to bad. Aspen and Juneau are better than most people so I give them credit for just being dogs. YES long live the dog!! You will never be adored or loved by anyone as much as you are loved by you dog. You will never have a bestfriend a faithful!!

I agree with you 100%. I have had my dog for alomost twelve years and I consider him to be my kid. He only weighs 25lbs but he think's he can take on anyone and anything. lol He looks like a Manchester Terrior but I'm not exactly sure what he is. Someday I would love to have a couple of big dogs. I know I would fall in love with your dog!!!! I know that a lot of men that I have met have not felt the same way about dogs as I do so I was happy to see that there is someone else out there that does. If you feel like talking sometime send me an email or reply.

I have a beautiful King Charles Spaniel, named Piper. Had him since he was 7 weeks old, he's now almost 3. He is my pride and joy. A pet gives you unconditional love, where as a man gives you what he thinks is just love. I've been happier since I got Piper and lost my man. At least he let's me be my own person. Long live our dogs.....cheering banana thumbs up
