I remember the gas station called the filling statio and the pump jockeys would always say"fill er up?Check the oil.Also the 5&dime stores with wood floors.When we took roads or highways on trips,no freeways then.Party line on the phone,no not a party line
and when we used phone prefix by letters not no.s,like our first phone no. was KE1,not 531.I could go on&on love this nostalgia subject.
