Just curious because some emails I get give me the idea that all these guys do is look at the pic and decide to send a message.

It's really too bad that there are other guys out there giving me a bad rep...I am into music and being creative, and if a girl isn't into that, than I know right away that she's probably not going to be into me, so I definitely read your descriptions. Some of them are pretty vague, though, we all know you are looking for an honest, handsome, and funny guy. My favorite is "I'm looking for someone who shares my interests" and then there aren't any interests. I loook at the pic and if im attracted then i read the profile. There are some women who may be hotter than a noon day in july but their profile is snotty.

Exactly ... Maybe some of the guys can get a clue from that. We women ... or at least myself ... want to know that you are interested in who we are ... not just what you see in a pic or whether we are close enough to "get" with. 
I am so much more impressed with an email that actually quotes my profile or talks about interests I list than anything else ... even if the guy is incredible looking
