I guess to sum it all up...I know what I want and I'll never accept anything less than that. Just like everyone here, we've all been through ups and downs...we know when we meet someone whether or not we will click and it doesn't take long if you know what you want and not just what you like.

Well, to me the statement "so far"....was not a "supportive" type of comment....it's almost like you are waiting for something bad to happen..............

ICE...............................

Don't know how the teacher felt about it, but, it looks like you might have done the whole class a favor!!!! There's only so much ya can get from books; time and grade wins out in the end, sometimes. You're also a prime example why it never pays to give up!!!!

cantbetamed............you said it all....can't think of a thing to add!

The Bald Guy.........Do you know when it finally worked on me?........when some of my best friends began dying of cancer......you'd be surprised how you can break yourself of the habit in a matter of weeks when you're determined....and SCARED! Best of luck.! It's worth the struggle.

BND.............Men ARE a luxury........ now they can be WANTED, APPRECIATED..........ENJOYED...........NOT NEEDED.......

What can possibly be wrong with THAT, men?

Fondly,
JUDY

well then whyd you ask what i meant by it?

sorry --thot you were being sincere in your question
otherwise i wouldnt have bothered to answer
i believe i even toasted you in the comment 'so far'?
this is generally a sign of good wishes?
geeez

im sorry you dont 'see it that way'
some here did
you didnt
so what?

its all just a matter of perception as to whether
such self talk is helpful isnt it?

but why does it justify such an accusation?
oh yeah-carefully worded-my bad-not an outright accusation
just my perception i guess.dunno

christ on a crooked crutch-cant say a damn thing around here anymore!
the last 4 months have been a 180 from the days of yore

I have had a similar experience twice trying to do an economics Paper. Walked out of class twice.

Done the accounting can handle that but economics was a whole load of doddle to me. But with a 10 yr difference between me and the rest of the class. They follow like sheep and you put up your hand and question.

It ends up everyone is dissatisfied. sigh

Its a drag at the time but a laugh later. You wonder how long before they wake up.

What it is, is so many people want to find the negative and don't push forward the postive.......so your statement "so far" after I had said that BND is the best thing that has ever happend to me......well....it doesn't take a genius to see that your statement was a negative response to my postive comment.

And no....if you're going to post negatives in a thread that I am the op of, you can bet I will call you on it every time.

why don't you stop it already....or, I WILL report......there's no need for this......mindful.....I took your comment to be negative, too. But, I don't like to get involved in this pettiness....so said nothing......but, you've got to admit, that you say a lot more than is necessary to get a point across and then it becomes an argument.

I'm sure you both can refrain from this sort of less than adult behavior.

I'm upset.....is it more important to be right? or get the last word in?
Just agree to disagree...do it respectfully ....and go on with the thread.

Sadly,
JUDY

look lady

what IS your problem?

you asked me and i shared what i meant

then you came back saying its not what i meant

then i tried to share that indeed it was what i meant

and now once again there is some kind of arrogance
to continue saying its not what i meant-
and justification to act like you are some mind reader
and then the two of you start consoling each other?
and further justify being rude to me?!

youre calling me on it?--gimme a break

what you are doing by refusing to take my word
as i explained it is not being open minded at all
which was what the topic was?

i mean i explained as simply as i could-
a practice that i have enjoyed
and found useful-thats attacked-why?
others 'got it' no drama

why do you 2 always have to create a bad guy?
and why regardless of how cordial i try to be does it have to be me?

doh
