moonfox - I've been using since I was 9... before the internet ... back in the early days of BBS! moon is what my real name Chandra means in Hindi (no I'm not Indian) fox - my step dad decided I was foxy... yes scary very scary but I didn't realize it was a problem till years later. 
In the snow - was added by my best friend a few years ago when she was creating a user name on a web site she wanted me to try out... it was added on because I was living in Alaska at the time.. and I love snow!

When my children were small, I tried to refrain from using harsh words that they might repeat, so I would always say "Gee Whiz". My son thought I was saying "Cheesewhiz" and would call me that when he wanted my attention.

As if I haven't told this story a few times
When I was growing up, my next door neightbor had a garden.
And every year, we refurbished her scarecrow with new clothes and new makeup on her face, drawn on a basketball which was her head.
The scarecrow's name was arabella.
A nice memory for me.
My neighbor was a lady who taught me about gardening, raspberries, Gilbert and Sullivan and ballet exercises.
