Yes it was a terrible shock. I really didn't know what I was going to do. I had no answers., only questions.. but that situation is over now and I just have to keep going.

I did relocate from Barbados to NY. The marriage lasted ten years and my love affair with the city lasted another fourteen years before I came back to the Caribbean.

Of course that situation is over and I'm glad you're thinking positively and keeping going. I really do believe we eventually get over all these hurdles in life and that nothing is set in stone and things change. Also, new people coming into our lives all the time. Things will get better for all of us I'm sure
