IMO.. EVERYONE has some kind of *Baggage*...

only a selfish person would ask to meet someone with NONE as far as I'm concerned.

That would already tell me about them. thumbs down

I think at this stage of our lives most people have baggage if you want to call it that. depends on what way you deal with it. The past is the past. My kids well I wouldnt class them as baggage maybe emotional stuff though.

I think that terms like 'no baggage' or 'I want a real man' or 'No drama please' are used by people to avoid putting a lot of biographical information about their past problems into a profile. Maybe they think that could turn some people off.

I do think that terms like 'baggage' can oversimplify a person's life and the major events of his/her life - which help to make them who and what they are.

Maybe a little more detail instead of these meaningless generalizations would help the cause.

Just catching up....
Yes, the great philosophers are indeed from Greece. Though only walking the same paths they once traversed, perhaps I find a grain or two of wisdom along the way. Or maybe I just drink too many Greek coffees and get charged up and simply must write, no matter the topic!
laugh In either case, thanks, Countryboy!
(By the way...it really pays to proofread...I wrote Countryboy and realized, upon re-reading it, that I had not typed the first letter "o" firmly enough and it did not appear. This would have left your name in a rather delicate state!!!! rolling on the floor laughing )
