I have travels clear across country and had others travels overseas so we could meet...I have never regretted it. I think as long as you are not doing extremely risky financially or personally to meet it is fine and it's best not to put false expectations on the meeting as it takes time to know whether you belong together. I have a bunch of new friends but still haven't found my one and only..

I would say yes great idea if the chemistry seemed right. As a friend of mine said.. you can only go so far online, and there comes a time when meeting in person is required to take it to the next level....
