Absolutely not!!! I got rid of the demon 8 years ago and I can't stand the smell of it now. A 25 pack costs over $10 in Nova Scotia!!! I feel sorry for them.

Since I smoke myself I let them puff away.In general I consider it impolite to light up in a non smokers house .I always goi outside or on the balcony.

For five years, I never smoked in my apartment here - always went out on the front porch (given the climate here, not a difficult rule to enact).
I guess I grew weary of being on display (the sidewalk passes by the front of my apartment) and few here say hello to the leppers (actually, few here are very friendly at all), so I started smoking inside, that is, if the windows are open.
As far as smoking in someone's home, I'd never even ask - but, for obvious reasons, if someone wanted to smoke here, well, no big deal.

I went to the cessation clinic on friday cos I had heard about a new drug called Champix - it apparently coats the nicotine receptors in yr brain effectively closing them down so that after a couple of weeks you dont feel like smoking - still urges you to use willpower, just not quite so much - am going to give them a try

In Indy last year, Little White Lies (an anti-cig. organization) was running a commerical that 250 people a year in Indy die from 2nd hand smoke.
I called into a local talk show and asked them to research it. The county coroner came on the station and factually stated that there has never been a "cause of death report" showing "2nd hand smoke". It would be virtually impossible to make that diagnosis.
Soon thereafter, the commericals stopped. No one can argue that smoking is good for a person. However~~ it was ironic that the organization was called LittleWhiteLies....would lie~~
