I'm a smoker but only at the computer and I'm right next to a window with a fan blowing out. Don't allow smoking in any other room in the house.

I am a smoker and my sis and I don't smoke in our house and no one else is allowed to either. Whenever I go to a person's house, I go outside.....the only time I will smoke in someone's home is if they smoke inside.

If you feel guilty about sending them outside, go with them while they smoke.
One of my ex-housemates was a smoker. He didn't mind smoking on the balcony but didn't like being isolated from the people inside. So we made an agreement... if he needed a cigarette he'd only smoke outside, but if we were in the middle of a conversation I'd join him outside (even if that meant putting on a coat and braving the winter weather).
