Today, I was riding about town on my scooter.
I tend to stand out a touch due to my helmet... it has big fuzzy black kitty ears sticking out on the top.
I'm constantly amused by the different reactions I get when people see me coming.
This day, I rode past a lady walking her little dog.
There must have been something interesting on the ground that had it's attention but once I got close, up looked to dog. I could see how badly that dog wanted to come after me once it got a good look at my helmet & ears(and the tail hanging off the back). The lady walking him started laughing & I nearly drove off the road laughing myself.
That has to be one of the best reactions yet.

My location under my pic says that I am in Greece...I was and I will be again soon, but I am currently in Kabul, Afghanistan. I'm on my lunch break now and my lunch was most definitely the best part of my day today! One of our security guys was at a military base somewhere in the region and he came back with a sackfull of Burger King Whoppers! He bought 30 of them, wouldn't take any money, and handed them out to anyone who wanted one. So, I took my Whopper back to my little apartment, grabbed a Coke, and sat down and had the most enjoyable treat that I've had in a long while! Little things can mean so much sometimes.
