I wouldn't just ignore someone without good reason, I always try to send some form of response, its only good manners. But if someone was offensive without provocation, no, I don't think they would warrant a reply.
I always try to respond to posts to me on the Forums also. If I don't, its simply an oversight on my part. Though I do know of a couple that blatantly ignore my posts to them.... speaks volumes, doesn't it? I simply don't hold with bad manners! Tickles me really.....

i know what you mean... me too... sometimes its either seen the forum post too late or just dont know what to say ...
while mails and any other communication.. usually a thankyou goes without saying... but some really try too little to annoy you...

maybe shyness or fear of rejection, or just plain fear plays a part too? it is hard to know who is real and who isnt when there are so many players out there giving those who are not a bad name. i agree with Rose about being courteous though.

No I have sent flowers to some in the past and never got a response.. but usually when that happens.. I take it as no interest. I may after some time goes by send one or two more.. just to see, but if after the third one I still get nothing then I stop trying.
The other thing is that when I do get flowered back, I don't recieve anything of the same quality that I sent out.. and I think to myself... what I don't even rate something better than that?.. but I guess it's the thought that counts...
