There's loving someone, for whatever reasons...
and then there's being in love, which is easily confused with being infatuated.
It is very easy for me to love someone, I give that to my mate regardless.
When I realize to what degree I would suffer without that person, I fall in love with them.
It's like stage one & stage two of the partnering process.
