They were just dressed in black and said they drink blood. Did not notice any mirrors.

Those are normally 'gothic' teenagers, who want to be vampires. Sad, strange little people (OK, I was one of them).
There is also a disease called porphyria, where vampire like symptoms can occur. Blistering in sunlight, for one. It is known as the Vampire Disease.

The mirror never lies when taking a reflection of a vampire.
Same as the camera never lies when taking a picture of a human.
At least the vampires showed up with the tv cameras though.
