Thats awfull those poor people. not just eight lives lost but it a knock on effect with family and friends, People who were ther any one involved

We were told a few weeks ago that we should stay alert in malls, sport arena's and places with very large crowds. Apparently there was some sort of threat.
It is truly sad when we can no longer feel safe doing something as natural as going shopping. This is truly a frightening world we live in today. 
My thoughts and prayers go out to all that have been left behind by violent crimes.

I don't know Oslo....this country has some serious issues and this coming election is going to screw things up even more.....no matter who is elected. I've never been so edgy about things before.

I have a 15 year old son. He has always been a very smart and good kid. I keep very close tabs on him. I know where he is all the time...if I find out he wasn't there, he is in huge trouble.

This kid i'm talking about sis, he doesn't listen and his mother is always crying. He moved here and we hoped he'd change but he's now messing with the village wh***.
I get so pissed off sometimes and it's devastating to know you can't do anything about it.

What is really scary besides the fact that a gunman shot 8 people plus himself is the fact that is the mall that I go to on a weekly basis and its a whole 6 blocks from my place.
I live in NW Omaha, again 6 blocks from the mall. NW Omaha is a really nice area. Not ritzy, but not bad either, mostly upper middle class. I could see at the other mall (theres 5 here now) where they have nothing but trouble, but Westroads is, well seemed so safe.
I thank God that none of my family or friends was there today and am keeping the families and friends of the victims in my thoughts and prayers.
