Maybe you were not lucky. Maybe it is simply because you are the person you are and place no expectaions on others. Maybe you have gotten back what you have given..thumbs up

Oh yes. Got in contact with a guy from another site, and fell hook line and sinker for his intelligent wit, I love verbal sparing and humour that makes me think. He had it on line. When I met him he was very quiet and there was very little humour.... but am still hoping (Fool that I am). He has never lied to me but not as interested in me for anything except one thing. I am trying to get him out of my head, but every now and again he sends me a message that " re hooks" me. Fortunately he is not local enough for many meets, otherwise i would be in a state of permanent confusion. (Dont read to much into when we meet lol)

I've met people from this site and with the exception of one, they are all great...

The one that wasn't did not misrepresent himself, just was a player, and since he was the first I had ever met, didn't even know what that was. Lucky for me, I am a quick learner.

I am meeting a bunch of CSers in Dublin in a few weeks, can't wait. I am sure they are all as advertised and more!!

yay hug cheers

nomindgames: you really hit it off,but whenyou meet, your disappointed, angry,or hurt, maybe suprised? They are not as they represented themselves to you?I ask because I hear it so much.I had a man from site I met in person thank me later for being real, the same person he knew be4 meeting.I thiught it odd to be thanked cause I'm me.So why do people do that?Has it happened to you, what was reason it wasn't what you thought it would be like? I don't get it,the truth will come out.

many people are so desesperated to be in a relationship that they represent temselves the way they perceive the other ones is looking

but lies do not last long

i still do not undertand why they behave that way, sadly to say, they also encourage me to adopt that behaviour
