I think some of the reasons for these "upgrades" is due to ....other forums and dating sites are using these new tools. For competitive reasons maybe this is why???? I don't know

I agree they are good in moderation. It's like it was at the start with the polls.. a flurry of (most) people trying them out.. then it evens out nicely.. and is more now .. used when 'needed'.

It'll die down, it's just a new toy to play with, but even the text formatting is more trouble than it's worth (IMO), and pictures, well sometimes one is worth a thousand words, but for the most part, not necessary in the forums.

I like the new toys, and think its great that they are here.
CS is now in the running’s with the bigger sites. I do realize that it human nature to not want to change, but some of us here think the small changes are great.
I personaly like the Emoticons and the fact that they added a TEDDY BEAR is the coolest of all.

I like the new toys and I think the use of them all the time will die down. If you are making a post on for example politics and you need evidence to back it up. Youutube will come in very handy.
