dancingfarmer: Social Club is right because many who hook up stay on just to socialize with the friends they made. Whether that is good or bad is an individual choice of a person's preferences. The downside of that is new people don't know and if they just look at the picture and don't read the profile, it can be very confusing for them. There are also many who hide behind their on-line persona because it means they don't have to face the world and perhaps be rejected or put down. That makes the friends they make here even more valuable in their lives. To each his own....

Getting so sick of people complaining about this site, if ya don't like it here, you're free to leave.
I've been on other sites, they're bor-ing! This one has the very best most fun forums.
One reason there seem to be a lot of attached people here, they don't want to leave when they hook up. That says a lot about the quality of people and the friendships that develop.
No, you're not likely to meet someone who lives in your backyard on the forums. It's just fun, and it is possible to meet someone, I did.
If you're seriously wanting to meet someone, do a search, you can put in the miles, ages, etc., and see what comes up. Send flowers to the one that sound interesting. And don't get your feelings hurt if you get rejected. You put yourself out there, something may happen. It's not going to just coming here and b**ching about it!
