In the two weeks I was in Detroit (I just got back Saturday) it dipped into single digits - so yes, got a taste of what I was missing at home.
I suppose it did not bother me too much. Felt good at times. Then again, it helps when you know it's temporary.

You know, I'm beginning to think almost every state subscribes to that saying. I must've heard it a thousand times since moving to South Dakota...and while visiting my folks in Colorado, everyone there said the same thing.
