Marsha711: If a person wants a weather change just move to Oklahoma it changes every day
You know, I'm beginning to think almost every state subscribes to that saying. I must've heard it a thousand times since moving to South Dakota...and while visiting my folks in Colorado, everyone there said the same thing.
And then there's California. Most of the time they don't even have weather there.
Ambrose2007: Somehow I knew I'd see you on this thread, Heart-Lease. Last I heard, I wasn't feeling so bad about California thanks to your reporting of storms, but I see you're now back to your old tricks again.
Ambrose2007: I can't believe this weather! Today it's 44 degrees, and tomorrow it's supposed to be -15!!!!! (Farhenheit.) I just can't take this insane South Dakota weather anymore!!!!
I just moved th MO. from blackhawk... kinda wish I had stayed there now! miss the mills so much. the cold was well worth it!
rwantin: In the two weeks I was in Detroit (I just got back Saturday) it dipped into single digits - so yes, got a taste of what I was missing at home.
I suppose it did not bother me too much. Felt good at times. Then again, it helps when you know it's temporary.
rwantin: It actually cleared this morning. Will be checking the weather closely - I am dying to ride a motorcycle - serious jonesing...
Hope you get a clear day tomorrow to be able to get that ride in .... it's looking like we might get more rain tomorrow...which I don't mind, I actually like it.
thegreeneyedbrat: Get this everyone... I live outside Death Valley... it's suppose to be the hottest and sunniest place in California....
I'm freezing my blue butt off!... since the beginning of 2008 (a whole what... 28 days...lol)... we have had more rain here than in the entire year of 2007!... not to mention Snow! (I am soooooooooooooooooooo allergic!....lol)
I moved here to avoid this kind of stuff (excessive constant rain, butt numbing snow... you get the idea.... lol)
I agree with Dana... move over... me and the "kiddo" coming to visit Dana... and I'm bringing all my blankies with me....lol
