Your theory about redheads has to be the most intelligent post I have read yet. Well, excepting the Wilma Flinstone part...

Redheads had a good public relations person,
whereas the the blondes....well you know how bad a job that PR person was.... The new PR person that started the "Blondes have more fun"

Not to go against the grain, but if you posted, "What is it about blondes that attract men", that thread would be more flooded with responses tham this one.
Personally, for me, I'm attracted to a womans facial features first, the hair color and style come second. If the facial features are great and you have red hair, I have no problem dating such a woman, and I have. The same applies to all woman of different hair colors to me. However, redheads and blondes seem to have something in common when it comes to catching the "eye"...both hair colors stand out from the more common colors...brunettes, dk brown, black haired women, etc. It easier to spot a blonde or redhead in the crowd.
From my experience, redheads tend to have very pale/light skin, this isn't attractive to me. I like a little more skin tone. Blondes tend to have a darker skin tone, or in the leastpart, thier skin allows them to hop into the tanning booth when redheads skin do not commonly allow this without burning.
Sorry folks, but I don't believe that redheads have it all over blondes for that matter. Redheads would however have it all over blondes in the "intellect" department, and blondes would have it all over redheads in the "overall looks" category. Be honest on this thread men, blondes do turn heads more often redheads, and I'm sure they've turned yours. Just my opinion, no offense intented whatsoever to anyone. Red is a passionate color For me its seeing that beautiful red hair in contrast with lovely pale skin and if she has freackles.....forget about it....i'm a gonner. Redheads also seem to be a little more open to trying things off the beaten path, they are loving and caring. Haven't met a redhead I didnt like yet.

I am also a natural redhead. It is true men either hate us or love us. Yes we do have fiery tempers, but it is only when were pushed to far. Then we blow up. And I guess being full blooded Irish don't help. Over the years some of us redheads calm down with age. I know I have.

I have calmed down a lot with age. I used to get really pissed off when people say they don't like red hair and freckles, but now I just smile and say, oh well, that's your opinion. I've met too many guys who love it to be offended. And I've never dated a redheaded guy before, until lately. I never liked red hair on guys. That sounds hypocritical, but true. Now that I have dated one, I know what the attraction is! It's the aura the person exudes, more than anything else, that attracts people. It's the confidence and personality. Now I look at him and say, "He's hot!"
