What women say they want is very different from what they really want (which I truely have no idea).
All my life I have heard from my female friends, clients and students, of how they want a man who is communicative and honest. I consider myself to be one of those type of men. But my experience tells me that when women get a man like this, they have no idea how to respond or relate to him (me).
I thinks it's a case of, "having is not the same as wanting"... or maybe it's just easier to complain....
Sticky one this. People sometimes think that they know what they want.Then when they get it they sometimes start to think it is not what they want after all and that they want something else. Then when it,s gone they think that maybe it was what they wanted all along. Some people can go through a lifetime like this and it is perhaps an indication not that there was something wrong with what they wanted/had but something wrong within themselves.Then there are people,all of us,who simply change,or whose needs change.At the end of the day it is all about negotiation,not just with other people,but with yourself to accommodate those changes. For negotiation read communication,and not just words,meaningful or empty.

My heart will crack and my head explode soon with all this talk of good being bad and bad being good and sometimes good being good but not trusted to be good and bad being bad and us falling again for bad......
Why is there no "head exploding" emocion??
I was caught out (as you may remember) by a bad sh!8 of a man? who was pretending to be good but it was my fault as well. I think there's a whole lot of "ugly" out there, so we all need to keep our eyes open and have a level head.......
Sooner or later, "If it's a rose, it will flower If it's a sh!8, it's gonna smell bad" (bad translation of greek saying)...... In other words, give things time and people will show themselves for whay they are.
And there are always people that appear good and true, who ARE good and true!!!
Different story if I can't tell them from the low-life.
There are 2 issues of trust here for me (and most people). Can't trust others / Can't trust my own judgement......

Women want men who exhibit confidence or power, men who are humorous and fun with a bit of the bad boy qualities. On the other hand we want men to care for us, sensitive to our moods and emotions and wit good looks if possible. We want men who can protect us and if possible with a sense of security and if this equals a bulgy wallet, that's even better.
