blue_eyed_blonde: If it were to come to a complete circle...between giving and receiving love, surely someone would offer love to you and you would be loved. So if everyone chose to give love..love would be in abundance. I would rather give it and understand it, then to only receive it without knowing where it came from to begin with. If a person only received love and never was able to give it...Would they ever really appreciate it and know its worth?
oh now you have me talkin in circles..
thumbs up thumbs up

Love is attachment. Whether you'd rather be attached or not depends on who, or if, someone becomes attached first.

The choice is between being hurt or hurting someone else; neither then; if it's not reciprocal it don't mean a thing.grin

blue_eyed_blonde: Hmmm good question, interesting for sure...

Im not sure how to answer it logically....and if you can have one and not the other? As great as being loved is and I would have to go with I would rather love......
Only because, I cant imagine not loving my kids. I would rather have this feeling of loving them with all I am... the pride, honor, and accomplishment that comes with being their mom. I dont think I would feel all of that if I chose to be loved, rather then giving my love.
So with that, I'm assuming that I would choose the same way if were regarding a different relationship...aawww but to be loved is precious.

But there is nothing more misrable than loveing and not being loved in return.
