Just made it and guess what?..........there was a gorgeous woman standing there and she said she was a nurse ,fully qualified in my virus and would show me how she would make me feel better!

Oh yes, that is the `flu that a men catch. It is not the same as the `flu a woman gets is it? When a woman gets `flu she just has aches and pains, runny nose, a cough, a fever, stays in bed for a day and then gets back to the¨normal routine of life.Man `flu is that terribly debilitating disease that men get...... it knocks them completely off their feet, they sweat, and moan, and tremble, and need lots of special types of food, and constant attention, changing of bed-linen, a few new pillows, the curtains opened or closed, a few midnight phone calls to the doctor with vivid descriptions of each particular ache or pain, requests for morphine and stronger pain killers, anti-depressants, sleeping pills, super-enriched vitamin and mineral supplements, the television moved into the bedroom, ear-phones for television because the sound irritates them unless its directly into their heads, their feet rubbed with camphor oil, their back massaged, special neck pillow because neck aches from watching the television, and finally when they emerge from their near-death experience, the saga will be retold for years to come ...... until the next nearly death causing virus is caught ..... again! Hell-of-a-thing this Man Flu is!

hey smoky, now you know what i am talking about, you are a martyr to the cause.
What you have described is fairly close to what we sufferer's require but as you cannot catch it you will never really appreciate it's downside...But thanks for trying babe.To give you an idea of how bad it is....PMT X 1 Zillion, would not even be close, but thanks for trying.
womble: I know what you mean mate, thats why even if i could muster up the energy to phone an ambulance i knew i would not be taken seriously...so much money is wasted on other research projects like Aids, Cancer ,PMT and saving the African elephant that this one has been sadly overlooked...time we 'Real Men' all stood up for the cause and demanded our recognition.
I walked into casuality the other day with man 'flu and demanded a bed bath immediately.......... they called the police!

I think we should have compensation from the EU or somewere. I know a friend who is claiming copensation from Ann Summers for white finger. any way im away to bed now coz i cant spell and im pissed

N.B. If you are hospitalised with man-flu ONLY demand a bed bath if the nurses are very very cute and female - getting a bed bath from a hairy-arsed male nurse is liable to shock one into being cured instantly, leaping out of bed and running home crying:

My god rusty do you think this could actually be the cure that us real men have been looking for all these years?........could it be that simple? i dont think so..it may cure some, but i am sure there are a few out there that would pay good money for that!!

Now as recent medical research has proven there is no known cure for this awful virus and has the potential to be more devastating than Malaria and like Malaria it can re-appear at anytime.
Ladies do not panic, this virus can only be caught by men.... you are so lucky !
Firstly, do you know of anything that can be done to ease this near death experience?
And secondly, do you know 'Man-Flu' by any other name ?
Please help me !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
