I met a woman on CS from Ireland that I am interested in but I live in New York. That is some distance away. If I felt strongly enough about her I would without a doubt would fly to Ireland to see her.

I did it,for love. Moved country,lock,stock and barrel.What happened.After I,d burnt all my bridges behind me and pitched my lot in with her then she dumped me on the streets of a foreign country with nothing. Never,ever,again. It happened three years ago and I,m still not clear of the problems this gave me,not sure I ever will be,but I,ll keep on trying. As for love.......hmmmm,don,t ask,rather not answer.

I have always planned to end up somewhere else eventually.. either the USA to be closer to my buddies .. I only really have my dad here.. (I have some family in MA too) or Sydney Australia to be close to my sister. My sister tries to talk me into it all the time

Wow I am new to this site, its fun, of course my question had many unanswered points to it, I strongly belief that distance should not stand in the way! How often does true love open an window for opportunity. No matter where its at. Compromise. Of course it going to take more than just a visit to determine your future!! And a few phone conversations. Doesnt anyone believe in the power of love anymore??????
