I still maintain a really active social life and spend a lot of time with friends outside the internet... the biggest effect being online has for me is that it's reduced the amount of time I spend reading... I used to read 3 or 4 books a week, now I only read one a week. Oh, I probably don't do quite as much housework as I used to...

I have to talk to drug addicts all day so the internet is a nice way for me to come home and stare at something that will not give me a hard time, not yell or scream and your posts are a sense of humour and the occassional enlightenment...thanks.
