I know the only destruction of this place we call home will be brought on by us No commet no biblical event or mass bombing of each other not oil causing wars or riots not the rising prices everywhere in the world it will be something more subtle something we make to help man kind that will destroy us

Actually, the Bible talks about wars and Armagedon, a final world war. If I interpret it correctly, if I remember right and I have a memory like a rabbits tail, short and fuzzy , they are set up for war but God intervenes and destroys them all and brings on the 1,000 year reighn on the earth for Him and his believers.

I am not an "endtimes" specialist or "theologian" or anything and I don't study the Bible, so . Perhaps someone else can enlighten us???

I do believe that this world will end soon and we will be transformed to a new earth in new bodies... A new begining as the Myans speak of. 2012 anyone?

what do you mean by "world ending"

Do you think the earth will no longer orbit the sun someday?
Is it going to go somewhere?
Or are you asking if all life will for one reason or another cease to be?

I don't think the world will end. I have enough to worry about finding socks for my children every morning.

I guess i could look at it this way:

Say there is a dog and on this dog are fleas. One flea posts on the fourum, "How do you think the dog will end?"

I guess the dog will end someday, but the fleas will most likely jump off and find a new dog, or perhaps a cat just to mix things up.

We'll be alright.

Well the whole bible story about how the world will end anyone can interpret how they think it will end but what lorax said was funny i guess it makes sense but first if we have the same outlook as the fleas we could move on if we are able too lol
