Can't look or I will mess up
I can still type 75wpm accurately.
It's harder on my laptop, the keys just feel different. I look at the screen so I can proof read while I type. I do make more errors on the laptop and have to backspace to correct them.
It's funny, sometimes I trip over my fingers cos they go so fast. I do have days like that.
mastic55: at you key board when your typing. I have to look, I took typing class in high school and use to type without looking, but after high school I never use a type writter till I got on line, I try to do it without looking but I mess up, got to get a typing lesson book to learn the right way...
I don't look (except when its the numbers and/or the odd punctuation mark) .... but I have to regularly retype as I transpose on a regular basis. Pain in the butt having been blessed with this gift. I've got no idea actually how fast I type.

Yes need to look,before this past1 and1/2 yrs. I didn't have or use a computer.I should take lessons though,since I am a writer.Have written 1st 6 chapters of my book by hand!!!
never took typing in school...was frowned upon for guys to take typing. Who knew about computers, then. Now I hunt and peck. It's o.k., not like I have anything else to do with my life

Funny I remember when computers were first being introduced into schools (I was in grade 11 at the time) .... and I thought forget it - I'm not interested in learning about them as I didn't think it was important. Probably would have been better off to take the computer programming classes then my English Literature as at least I'd have probably had a career.
yeah i have to look for the first few words but when i get going i dont have to. When im gaming i never have to look, the keyboard is like a 111 button controller :]
