Do you have any ideas or beliefs about global warming in general? Are we causing it ourselves, or is it just a cyclical thing--something that reoccurs naturally over time?

i did see it and while i think some of it may have been exaggerated(sp?) i think it woke a lot of ppl up to the fact we do have a problem and SOMETHING needs to be done to prevent warming from getting worse.Do you agree with what the movie says about global warming?

i personally believe that global warming is a natural phenomenon and that it'll happen irrespective of what we try to do about it. it's a fact that the earth does warm/cool periodically. however, i also believe that we speed up these changes by polluting the atmosphere but it's often blown out of proportion.

yes, I've seen it, and it didn't change my mind. Last year, I worked at the dump for a few days, (cleaning it up-which is a never ending story) anyway, I dragged so much bubble wrap out of the creek, I began to hate it...Plus, I saw a grass green bumble bee
now, that was trippy!
I respect Al Gore, and I think he has found his purpose in life. I recently saw an interview with him and his wife. I was impressed by him and how serene he looked. I wish that I could find my purpose in life....(it wasn't at the dump)
I do have something that I want to do, but alas, the cash flow is not there for it.

From film, it was clear how disappointed he was not to be elected president (well,he was, actually, by popular vote, ahmm) but anyway, he does seem to have found a good purpose and focus and something extremely important.

Yes,global warming is happening as it has happenened in the past. However it is not Man made as the media have dished out to us. Global warming is BI G BUSINESS for many people,and the developing countries will be the losers in this scam.

I beleive Global warming is Real and it happens mainly because of Human activities and becuase of wrong politichal positions amoung world leaders all over the world.
I beleive if global warming is not worked a gainst seriously then a lot horrible happenings will create huge natural catastrofies and many human beings will have to fleed their land to find a refuge some where else!
I beleive global warming will result in more aggressive bakterias and in spreding of very dangerous tropichal diseases from deep inside the rain forrests to differnet countries and I beleive global warming will result in more hunger and less driniking water and because of that a lot new wars just for getting food and water!I am sure there will be huge shortigess of drinking water even for the so called rich countries whom "think" they have water enough.....and there will not be possible to find water enough one day to cover that huge shortigess no matter what......if global warming is not stopped!
I beleive many animals will for ever parrish and I beleive no body will be able to feel totaly safe from the huge environmental changes soon to come......

There's no doubt the rate of CO2 and other emissions has increased as we have become a industrialised world.
Recycling should be compulsory, but there are so many untruths peddled it makes people suspect there is a giant con going on.
Sun spot activity always seems to be forgotten, and i think just possibly the sun has a little more to do with things than some in the Green Lobby business would give admit to.
That said i recycle every bit of card paper and plastic as it makes sense to protect our environment.
There is no need for V8 engines, nor one country selling its carbons emissions quota.
We have technology to produce lest waste and less emissions, its just not deployed because of the costs.
The sooner we are less dependant on fossil fuels the better, but mind you try telling that to some vested interests.

And I have not even wrote the whole thing still! The movie is even "too soft" a bout what waits for all of us if we are not doing some thing a gainst Global warming I am sure!Beleive me or not the movie had not any thing with the way I think a bout the danger of global warming...the movie just confirmed what I already felt for years and was a ware of when heard and read a bout how things are connected in the matter of environment......
Albert gore is not a scientist by him self , he just dared to gather them and he dared to talk a gainst those whom denied the truth. Many scientists have warned a bout this huge danger for allo of us if we dont Care and Al Gore just made these people workign tog ether and for one Goal!
So no .....the movie for me was just a great way of thinking....Wow! I told you so!
