Hi Ladies and Gentlemen. I'm new to this site, and I would like your 2008 opinion on this age-old question. How many dates do you think that a couple should go on before going all the way? What should happen on the first date? The second? The third? Thanks.

It's NOT the number of dates - it's the TIME factor........... I once went on a first date that lasted six years!
Hi Gorgeous! I wished that you lived in Rhode Island because you're so cute and funny. But did you make out on the first date (or do more), or go all the way? Some women like to get physical fast, but others like to wait a month. How about you out of curiosity? Bye.
Too many variables to factor a realistic discussion....
Each situation with different people in different points and directions of/for their lives, what is know about each other prior, what the expectations of the dates (quick test, concern for long term, etc...), the peoples moods on that given night in that given situation...
I'd like to think that peeps still would like to be somewhat traditional and in doubt WAIT!.... It's a RESPECT thing...
Well, this is my experience and it has worked for me a lot;
1st date- We went to somewhere in public, like out to eat at a restuarant, went to play pool, sat somewhere quiet to talk about each other, and just have a good time after. Even go dancing. Somewhere neutral. That way if it didn't work out, there's no hard feelings. Much safer too.
2nd date- I would probably get invited to go to their house and spend a day with them and their friends. Maybe a house party or BBQ.
3rd date- Maybe go out of town together, to a concert or to the beach or something.
4th date- Hmmmm...I think he likes me...We can anything on this one. I'm happy.
