rwantin: I'm in So Cal - this window would time out before I could get it all typed.
Evening Harry.
Howdy Robert
I just remembered, I live in sunny south central L.A.
Wonder if I'm from the right side of the tracks though. Actually most of the town is on the north side of the tracks, so I'm screwed no matter which way I look at it.
The last place I lived, I had a ghost, and I didn't even believe in ghosts, but I do now. It was a very sorrowful female. Someone that I told this to, said, well, do you have a ghost in your new place? And the answer is noooo, he went, wheeeew. Thought you were crazy there for a moment. lol... Kind of miss her. lol...
In at number 81) Edinburgh 2) Winchester 3) Epsom and Ewell 4) Waverley 5) Mole Valley 6) Surrey Heath 7) South Cambridgeshire 8) Chelmsford 9) Horsham 10) Elmbridge
That's good news then! If I ever had to move to a big city, it would DEFINITELY be Edinburgh (beautiful place!), and if I was ever forced back down to Englandshire, then it would defintitely be Winchester that I'd choose. Worked there for a while when I was travelling - it's a wonderful place!
Sorry - off topic a bit here.
When I lived in York, I worked as a waitress in a restaurant. However, it was also the dwelling where Guy Faulks was born. When you needed to go and stock up with wines etc you had to go down a very narrow, very steep set of steps leading down into the cellar. It was supposed to be haunted. Whenever I had to go down there, I was the fastest waitress on the planet!!!!
Juneau: Ohhhhhh.....I've gone all shuddery and cold now!
yeah pretty creepy, we also have a indian cemetary that is haunted . Then we have a country road called pergatory. i never been there but people say its real scary. then in lawton oklahoma they say there is a woman on the 3rd floor of the indian hospital that is half deer and half woman. and if you say the two words together something bad will happen to you.

I live in a 100 year old farmhouse full of the ghosts of my dead kinsmen.Sometimes I am awakened in the middle of the night when my name is called. Then I sit up and listen attentively hoping they will say more.....but they will not....until that night when they will come for me... "Oh come,Angel Band Come and around me stand" There is nought to fear from ghosts who love you. In the woods nearby is the family cemetary. It's a wonderful place to walk on a clear winter's day.Among the graves a Witch's remains are marked by a slate rock.If you dare go thereat night you will hear the wails and moans of wraiths and banshees in the forrest. They come right up to my face and are outraged that I am unafraid. I love that place.
In July 2009, the Bay of Fundy was named as a finalist for the New 7 Wonders of Nature.
Each day 100 billion tonnes of seawater flows in and out of the Bay of Fundy during one tide cycle more than the combined flow of the world’s freshwater rivers!
Visitors can see two extraordinary high and low tides every 24 hours. The time between a high tide and a low tide is, on average, six hours and 13 minutes.
Highest Ever On Record
The greatest difference between high and low tide ever recorded was at Burncoat Head, Nova Scotia at 16.27 metres (or 53.38 feet) in the Bay of Fundy's Minas Basin.
I see it every day when I drive to work.
It is amaizing! Such a power!
Juneau: GO CANADA!!!!
By the way ... I do not see any information about Scotish tropics. Logan check it and post it. You guys live in a Country of wonders.
Wow! a 53' tidal difference!!!!!! I would like to see that!!
What are "Scotish tropics"?
Did you mean "Scottish Topics"?
If so...there is now a "Scotland Forum"! It's pretty new - I have put some funny videos on there for all to have a good laugh at Scottish people! There's a lot of other stuff on there too I believe.
Just don't have time for all these topics on here! I can't keep up! I can't even find the "help" emoticon thingy now!!! I've lost the plot completely!
oh i forgot we also have a bridge named jermiah's bridge. The story is a woman went off the bridge in her car with her baby named jermiah. If you go on this bridge and stop in the middle and holler jermiah 3 times. He does weird freaky stuff to you. They lady lived but the baby died as they could never find him in the river. I know for a fact this is true. Me and two of my friends done this. my friends car died and the lights started flashing on and off and we heard something scratching the top of the car. And her doors locked and we couldn't get them open. we started screaming and she tried starting her car , it finally started , we got the hell out of there. now the bridge is gone , a water truck drove across it and the bridge collapsed, so now there is a new bridge there.
