riyablossom: Hi people ....
Now if you let go of someone for their happiness .. shouldnt it hurt less?
or is it that our feeling of such a powerful emotion is what makes things worse for us?
I have been trying to let go for 7 months...it is very painful to let someone go who you loved deeply. Letting someone go for the benefit of their happiness is very noble, but it still hurts.

both hurt very much as many on this site know. but for me it is the letting go that is the worst, was married to my first love for 5 years, she left me. this was the hardest thing I ever had to deal with in my life and trust me there have been many difficult things in life I have had to accept.
good lord .. am sorry i made you all thinkof it again.
But personally i would agree that letting go is noble but painful.
I wonder sometimes if its greater love to have loved and lost or to have just loved at all cos its sure a blessing to have felt such a pure emotion for someone in the first place where you would give up all.

Its still a light of hope that maybe the happiness they seek was in reality elsewhere ... maybe ..
